Call of Duty: Modern Warfare two has topped the UK all format chart for the second week running.

The critically-acclaimed shooter sequel held off competition from new entries Assassin’s Creed II and New Super Mario Bros Wii to hold onto the top spot, despite a huge 86 per cent drop in sales since launch week.

With no climbers in the top twenty this week, notable mentions go to Left 4 Dead which entered the chart at number  seven while Codies’ F1 2009 debuted at number 11.
