The new firmware update for the PS3 has included the option of reporting a problem directly to Sony via the console.
If a problem occurs the following message will be shown along with the option of YES or NO.
"A problem occurred the last time the PS3 system was used, and the system did not turn off correctly. Do you want to report this problem to Sony Computer Entertainment?"
Sony is hoping this new feature will allow developers to pinpoint major issues with the system quickly and efficiently and in turn work on fixes for future firmware updates.
The latest firmware update has seen the inclusion of social networking site Facebook, a revamped friends list, new photo and movie viewing windows and other smaller fixes, head over here for a detailed list of changes. Meanwhile Sony's rival Microsoft this week released the eagerly anticipated dashboard update which included numerous services including Facebook, Twitter and LastFM.
