BioWare Teases Mass Effect 2 Surprise

BioWare has revealed a special Mass Effect 2 announcement is incoming this week.

The announcement came through BioWare's Chris Priestly who posted the update via the official Mass Effect 2 Facebook page.

"Man, so much time tied up today in meetings and 'secret stuff' I didn't get any time with ME2 at all. =( Still with the coming surprise for next week on the ME2 website, I'm sure fans will forgive me for no update."

No news on when to expect the revelations but stay tuned to IncGamers for all the latest up-to-date news. Mass Effect pits you in the role of Commander Shepard and it's up to you to choose a team of humans and aliens to battle the forces of evil across the galaxy.

If you're not hooked by that then the title is made by the same people who brought you RPG favourite Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Furthermore,  if that still hasn't grabbed you then check out our latest preview of Mass Effect 2 and let's see whether you're not excited then. I also forgot to mention the choices you made in the original Mass Effect also affect Mass Effect 2, which launches in January 2010 on PC and Xbox 360 so you have approximately two months to complete the original!
