Army Of Two: The 40th Day’s Ending Sets Up A Sequel

EA is clearly not done with the Army of Two franchise just yet as it revealed the ending of the upcoming Army of Two: The 40th Day sets up another sequel.

Speaking to IncGamers, EA's Alex Hutchinson revealed that the ending of the game throws up some interesting questions which the developer hopes to answer in another sequel.

"One thing we've never talked about yet with anyone is the ending of the game, and there are some things that happen at the end of the game that ask questions about the sequel which we think are very interesting and people are going to be excited by," he said.

"Hopefully it sells well enough for us to do another one. I think the team really believes in this game - we've made huge progress, so if you like the first one at all, you'll really, really love this new one. So hopefully we'll get to do another one, but as always, the market decides. That's how it goes."

In other Army of Two news, Hutchinson also revealed that European gamers didn't really appreciate the tone of the first game in the same way as American gamers.

Look out for our full interview which will go up later today.
