Star Trek Online - Bridge Details

Cryptic Studios has released further details of the 'Bridge' in its upcoming MMORPG Star Trek Online.

Speaking to Associated Press, Cryptic revealed that there will be twenty different Bridges that will appear in the game.

"We didn't want to have interiors at launch," said Star Trek Online executive producer Craig Zinkievich.

"We thought it was just a little bit too much. We really wanted to make sure we delivered a really deep experience, but your bridge not being in the game, it really felt like a hole in the game, and it was just something that we had to put in."

Cryptic went on to say that the Bridges will function as 'social hubs' where players will be able to hang out with other officers and captains online. Cryptic is confident the game caters for the hardcore Star Trek fans and it's been a goal to 'satisfy the fans'.
