Polyphony: Forza “Different From A Simulator”
 Andy Alderson

Gran Turismo 5 developer Polyphony Digital has stated that Forza Motorsport 3 is “different from a simulator.”

Speaking at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Gran Turismo 5 main man Kazunori Yamauchi revealed the GT team have played Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport 3.

I was watching the guys at our company trying it out in the office. I tried it a little bit,” Yamauchi told Autoweek (thanks CVG).

Forza Motorsport 3“It's very similar in a lot of aspects to Gran Turismo, but some basic parts of the game are very different from Gran Turismo. It's a little bit different from a simulator and you can feel that when you drive it.”

We think it makes a nice change for Turn 10 and Microsoft to be on the receiving end of some trash talk. We don’t suspect Phil Spencer will agree with Yamauchi, though.

He's still being a little coy though. He's no Randy Pitchford that's for sure, not with language like 'a little bit' which he uses twice.
