ASDA has confirmed to IncGamers that highly anticipated game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will retail at £32 GBP when released tomorrow.
Speaking to IncGamers, Duncan Cross, game buying manager, said the offer will only last until midnight on Thursday, but said the game wouldn't jump up to the recommended retail price of £55 GBP.
"We always try to offer the best value for money to our customers and I can only tell you that we will not be raising the price to £55 GBP on Friday."
CoD: Modern Warfare 2 has been one of the first games that ASDA has taken pre-orders for, and according to Cross, has been "extremely successful".
"This has been the most successful pre-order game we've offered, bringing in 20 times more pre-orders than any other game," said Cross.

ASDA will start selling the game at midnight, and with around 370 stores nationwide ready for the influx of gamers, ASDA can expect to run out of stock pretty sharpish.
This isn't the first time ASDA has offered discount prices for games on release, but Cross said that the strength of the videogame market is something ASDA will continue to support and look at expanding.
"We're happy with what we're doing with videogames, but of course we'd like to expand as much as we can."
If you're looking for a bargain, then make sure you check ASDA first. As they say, "that's ASDA price."
I couldn't resist.
