Phoenix Wright Coming To Wii?

Evidence is mounting that the Phoenix Wright series may be coming to the Wii.

Gamerbytes spotted a listing on the website of the German Ratings board USK, indicating that "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney" is coming to "Nintendo Wii."

This isn't a lot to go on, obviously, but we can speculate. It's not unthinkable that the series would come to Wii - it has previously been on the GameBoy Advance (in Japan) and the DS (worldwide) so a third Nintendo system would make sense. Equally, the series has a cult following but is certainly accessible to all manner of gamers, making the Wii a natural fit.

The title itself sounds like it could well be a port of the series' very first game, however, in which case it wouldn't necessarily surprise us if it was coming to WiiWare. Considering that the game is one that's likely to do well over time than in first-week sales (as with the DS versions) digital distribution could be a wise move.
