Nintendo To Offer WiiWare Demos

Nintendo will offer demos for WiiWare titles in a trial period starting later this month.

According to IGN the move is an attempt to stimulate sales of the downloadable titles by Nintendo and was confirmed by Satoru Iwata in a Q&A session at a recent earnings briefing.

Iwata reportedly revealed that Nintendo’s WiiWare market is currently quite small and that most purchasers already know which title they want and don’t tend to browse the range.

No word when exactly the trial will begin but we’ll keep you updated.
