According to an industry analyst pre-orders for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 2 have already exceeded those for the first game.
According to Janco Partners’ analyst Mike Hickey Assassin’s Creed 2 is part of "a strong stable of owned and internally developed franchises," and its sales will help drive a slight year-over-year revenue increase in the third fiscal quarter.
Hickey also revealed to GamaSutra that he expects Ubi to place more emphasis on MMO gaming in 2010.
