Resident Evil Zero Coming To Wii

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Zero will be coming to Wii next year.

Billed as the second in the Resident Evil Archives series, which takes classic Resident Evil games and ports them to the Wii, Resident Evil Zero takes place before its Archives stablemate Resident Evil 1.

Resi Zero puts players in control of Rebecca Chambers, S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team member, as she investigates a series of gruesome murders with the aid of Billy Coen, an ex-Marine convicted of 23 murders. As Rebecca also appears in Resident Evil 1, it's pretty clear she's not going to have a very good day.

Resident Evil Zero will be hitting European Wiis on 22 January 2010. Expect to "control both Rebecca and Billy simultaneously" with the Partner Zapping system along with, we imagine, similar control updates to those we saw with the Archive re-release of the first game.
