Sky TV Goes LIVE on 360

General ScreenshotMicrosoft has launched its Sky TV service on Xbox LIVE today.

The new feature means you can watch Sky programming without the need for a satellite dish. Launching with 24 channels, the service is available to Sky subscribers for free (if they have Sky Multiroom or Broadband Unlimited) and non-subscribers can also get access to the channels for as little as £15 GBP per month so long as they have a Gold LIVE membership.

The Xbox.com website currently does not specify what you get for the £15 GBP subscription, but the small print does state that subs prices range from £15-41 GBP.

Microsoft also recommends a minimum 2 MB broadband connection for the service.

UPDATE: the basic £15 GBP subscription comes with the following channels: GOLD, Sky Real Lives, Sky Arts 1, MTV One, Sky Sports News, British Eurosport, ESPN Classic, Sky News, National Geographic, Nat GeoWild, History, Eden, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Nickelodeon, DisneyChannel and Nick Jr.

Do you think the channel list warrants a £15 GBP per month fee? Let us know in the comments section below.
