Boom Blox HD In The Making?

A job listing on the Electronic Arts website suggests the Boom Blox team are not only working on a new title, but that it'll be a HD version of the game.

The listing, spotted by Joystiq, confirms the next game will be for the current gen consoles, that is the 360 and the PS3. It doesn't take much stretching of the imagination to assume that the game will take advantage of motion technology with both Natal and the motion wand controller.

The listing says that the "last two titles were Wii-based, but our next titles will be for the next generation," and we think it's a little early to take about the next generation of consoles right now.

We also know, from E3, that Stephen Spielberg is a big supporter of motion technology, especially Natal after making an appearance at the Microsoft press conference.

Boom Blox and Boom Blox Bash Party have been one of IncGamers' best games of all time. Unofficially of course, and the guys don't know I'm bestowing this honour on it, but we actually all love it and is a favourite of ours. We've put a call in to the producer of the franchise to see if we can squeeze any more information. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
