Turbine Announces LOTRO Lottery

Lord of the Rings Online players can sign their characters up to take part in an in-game lottery, thanks to a new system being introduced by developers, Turbine.

The lottery is still in beta, but players can take part already by logging in to my.lotro.com with their community login details. Clicking on the Lottery Widget in the lefthand column will enter characters into any current drawings. The winnings vary, and may sometimes depends on a character's class, race or level.

During the beta, which runs until the end of the month, the draws will take place on a daily basis. Winning characters will receive a level-appropriate amount of silver and two bundles of fireworks. The winnings are delivered by in-game mail.
