Gearbox Software has announced it has resolved an issue with the PS3 version of Borderlands.
Following the game’s release in the States yesterday, many PS3 users reported a fault which meant their PS3 friends lists were not being properly displayed with some unable to play with friends at all.
Gearbox’s Steve Gibson issued a statement today revealing that the problem has been fixed meaning there shouldn’t be any issues when the PS3 version launches in the UK tomorrow.
“We are very pleased to report that using PSN friends lists with the game should now work properly for all PS3 customers,” said Gibson (thanks Joystiq).
“The fix has been released invisibly and should work automatically for all PSN users on the PS3 platform. No special action is required by PS3 customers to apply the fix - just play the game and you'll find that everything works fine now. We thankyou all for your patience and for making us aware of the issue!"
