Piracy Reduces Chances Of More PSP PixelJunk
 Tim McDonald

General ScreenshotPixelJunk series developer Q-Games has found the piracy of PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe on PSP "very depressing."

Speaking to Kotaku, Q-Games head Dylan Cuthbert has said that he doesn't think the company will port any more games to Sony's handheld console.

"We thought the PSP-Go and the PSP-3000 were safe but a rip 'that works on PSP-3000s' went up on torrent servers the day after we released PJMD," Cuthbert said, adding "Seeing it up on torrentz.com the following day was very depressing."

PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe is, of course, the PSP port/update of highly-acclaimed PS3 title PixelJunk Monsters, both of which are only available through the PlayStation Store. Or through torrenting, apparently.

A shame, certainly. Not entirely unexpected or unprecedented, but if it means no more ports of PixelJunk games, we suspect a fair few people are going to be disappointed.
