The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta is just the “tip of the iceberg” according to Infinity Ward.
Speaking in London yesterday, IW’s Robert Bowling said that players can look forward to an awful lot of content, beyond what is being shown in the closed beta.
"The beta is really just the tip of the iceberg at this point, we're really just showing a little bit [of the game]," he told CVG.
"There's a lot more to come, whether it be customisable kill streaks, custom death streaks, equipment like tactical insertion, Semtex grenades - all that stuff.”
He went on to say that the MW2 multiplayer’s customisation options will add a lot of depth to the game.
“What we're offering with Modern Warfare 2 is a ridiculous amount of customisation,” he added.
“The lead-out is insane, you have all these attachments to choose from. It really caters to the hardcore gamer who wants to dive in deep.”
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 10 November.
