Cryptic Studios has released a video explaining what has happened in the Star Trek universe since the last film and before the upcoming game, Star Trek Online.
Star Trek Online's executive producer, art lead and associate producer speak about the events leading up the situation gamers will be faced with in the MMO. STO is based 30 years after the film 'Nemesis', and in that time the Remuns have risen up against the Romulans, demanding either a continent on Romulas or a planet of their own with enough resources to allow them to support themselves. While the Romulans are fighting with the Remuns, the Klingons take advantage of the situation and begin to 'reclaim' areas of space they see as their own.
