Gametrailers has announced Infinity Ward has been awarded its prestigious Diamond Award for exceeding 10 million video views for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
"To surpass 10 million views is a testament to our fans' support and the GameTrailers community," said Infinity Ward’s Vince Zampella.
"The team has been focused since the beginning, so as we get closer to November 10th, it means a lot to us to have such strong interest and continued following from our fans."
"Modern Warfare 2 has been one of the most talked about games this year and one of the most popular games on the site," added Gametrailers’ Shane Satterfield.
"The response from our users has only been matched by Infinity Ward's last game and we congratulate them for achieving this distinction so early in the game's development cycle."
The hugely-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 is due out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 worldwide on 10 November. Check out our preview here.
