Queen's Brian May Talks Rock Band
Queen guitarist Brian May will be appearing in Lego Rock Band, and mentions that we may see a Queen: Rock Band title at some point.
As revealed in an interview with the BBC, May will be joining Iggy Pop and David Bowie as musicians immortalised in Lego for the forthcoming Rock Band title, for which the tracklisting was recently revealed.
"It's the ultimate accolade, to be portrayed in Lego," said May. "My dreams are all fulfilled now."
More interesting, perhaps, was the mention that Queen might see their own Rock Band game before long. May stated that there is talk "going on behind the scenes" about the game - which would presumably be akin to the fab The Beatles: Rock Band game.
"Yes we're into it, I think it may happen," said May.
We've recently heard similar from U2, in that the Irish rockers may want a game of their own, but it sounds like Queen are actually moving ahead and actively talking to Harmonix about it. Nice.
And all of this, of course, follows the news that Rock Band is going to see a load of Queen tracks in the Music Store shortly.
