Irish sort-of rockers U2 may be about to follow in The Beatles' footsteps and appear in a Rock Band game.
The band's bassist Adam Clayton recently revealed that U2 had been approached by the makers of Rock Band to appear in their own game. However, at the time U2 decided against it but it seems as if, following the success of The Beatles Rock Band, they might be about to change their minds.
“We definitely would like to be in there, but we felt some of the compromises weren’t what we wanted,” Clayton told USA TODAY.
"That could change. I love the idea that that’s where people are getting music, and we’d love to be in that world. We’ll figure something out. What The Beatles have done, where the animation is much more representative of them, is what we’re interested in, rather than the one-size-fits-all animation. We didn’t want to be caricatured.”
What do you think, folks? Could you stomach an entire game's worth of U2? Have I loaded that question a little?
