LostWinds Sequel Hits WiiWare

LostWinds: Winter of the MelodiasThe 100th WiiWare title goes up this week, and it's LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias.

The first LostWinds was one of the very first WiiWare titles, and it was a huge hit both with critics and consumers. The sequel grants players the ability to switch the world between Winter and Summer, which not only affects enemies but opens up new paths. You can find out a bit more about it and see some screenshots over here.

DSiWare is getting its own major title this week, too, in the form of Dragon Quest Wars. This strategy game asks players to lead an army of monsters into battle in either Versus or Survival mode, against AI opponents or other players both locally and online.

Other than that, there are a couple of Virtual Console releases, and a few little bits and pieces rounding things out. Read on for the full listings and pricings.

WiiWare releases

  • LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias - 1000 Wii Points
  • Happy Holidays Halloween - 500 Wii Points

DSiWare releases

  • Dragon Quest Wars - 500 DSi Points
  • Photo Clock - 200 DSi Points

Virtual Console releases

  • Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap - 500 Wii Points
  • Final Fight 2 - 500 Wii Points

These should all go live tomorrow.
