EA Working On Jack The Ripper Game?

EA has apparently filed two trademark registrations for a new title called The Ripper.

According to an LA Times blog post (via Superannuation), the game is in development by Visceral Games and will be based on the infamous 19th century serial killer Jack the Ripper (see artist's impression, right).

That's all we know about the title so far, with no platforms or release date confirmed. Let's hope it doesn't clash with Activision's upcoming Whore Slayer 4*.

*This is clearly not a real game. The next game in the series is Whore Slayer 3**.

**I jest. It's the end of the day and I'm in the mood to make stuff up. The Ripper is apparently a real game but is unlikely to let you play from the perspective of a man who routinely killed prostitutes.
