Transmission Games has laid off more than 20 staff members according to reports.
The news comes from Gamasutra and claims that a "reliable source" within Melbourne-based indy company has confirmed the lay-offs, and employees were told today.
Previously known as IR Gurus until 2008, Transmission Games has been responsible for titles such as AFL Coach, Heatseeker and more recently; Ashes Cricket 2009, which held the top spot in the UK all formats chart, as well as Heroes Over Europe and Heroes of the Pacific, the first of which we hated.
The company has a history of focusing on sports and flight oriented games, but no further information has been offered on where the lay-offs within the company will take place.
We don't have any more information, but we'll keep you posted if more information becomesavailable.
