Ace Attorney Investigations Discovers New Screens

Capcom has released a set of new screenshots for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth.

The pseudo-sequel to the Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice games sees players take control of Edgeworth, the cravat-wearing prosecutor as he investigates the murders taking place in each episode.

It's all a little different, though. Edgeworth has the "Logic" mode which lets players join up seemingly disparate clues to piece together new inferences and informations. The game itself looks to play out a little like a traditional point-and-click adventure, too, with the view being side on, and it doesn't sound like there'll be much in the way of courtroom battles as the confrontation of witnesses seems to take that place, with a new "Testimony - Pursuit - Press - Confront" system to help you expose contradictions.

Oh, and Gumshoe's back, pal.

We want it badly, and it's out in Europe on 19 February 2010. Check out the new screens below.
