It seems as if the launch of NCSoft’s Aion has not gone without a hitch, with some users reporting colossal queues to get into the game.
According to Kotaku, some users who preordered the game (allowing them to play early via the Head Start system) have been faced with nearly an eight hour wait to get into the highly anticipated MMO.
Last week the publisher announced over 400,000 gamers had pre-ordered the title, following largely positive previews from the gaming media.
"There are more people waiting in cues [sic] to start the game than there are in the game itself," said one tipster.
"[A]nd this is just the people with pre-orders. This will be a nightmare when the game actually launches."
We have contacted NCSoft for comment, stay tuned.
