Bioshock 2 Dated

2K Games has announced its sequel to Bioshock is set to hit store shelves in February 2010.

Bioshock 2 is due for worldwide release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 beginning 9 February. The game sports a story-driven single player mode, set ten years after the events of the first game, with the player taking on the role of a Big Daddy as well as multiplayer modes that tie in with the Rapture mythology.

The multiplayer game is set during the fall of Rapture, with players acting as test subjects for Sinclair Solutions, developer of plasmids and tonics.
