Sega has today confirmed Valkyria Chronicles II will launch on PSP in summer 2010.
We've known for a while that the title is in development, but it was originally only confirmed for a Japan launch. However, western fans of the impressive PS3 turn-based strategy/RPG/third-person shooter can now sleep a little easier knowing it will be hitting Sony's portable console next year.
"Valkyria Chronicles received widespread critical acclaim when it launched on PS3 last year," said Gary Knight, European marketing director for Sega Europe. "It has quickly become one of our most respected franchises, so we're delighted to be able to continue the saga on the PSP. We hope that fans of the series will enjoy the freedom of experiencing Valkyria wherever they are and that a new audience will be able to discover the universe on their PSPs."
Take a look at what we thought of the original on PS3 which will also be receiving DLC next year too.
