Electronic Arts still plans to release Grand Slam Tennis on 360 and PS3, but only once motion controls are available.
Speaking to VG247, EA Sports' Peter Moore stated that Grand Slam Tennis has been delayed on PS3 and Xbox 360 following the Wii version's release for two reasons, not counting the fact that MotionPlus has "ruined" tennis games for the man on standard controllers.
"It's two things," said Moore. "[EA Sports] Active is such a powerful platform that we have to bring in resources to take advantage of that and get more stuff coming down the pipe."
"Secondly we've decided to just wait for Natal and for the Sony motion controller to come out," he added.
So yes, we'll still see the tennis game on the other consoles, but not until Natal and Sony's motion wand launch - which look to be late 2010, and early 2010, respectively.
We thought Grand Slam Tennis was solid on Wii, and it looks like it's going to be interesting on the other systems. Let's hope it functions well with Natal and the wand.
