Red Alert 3, Bubble Bobble Coming To XBLA

Bubble Bobble Neo and Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge make up this week's Xbox LIVE Arcade titles.

Bubble Bobble Neo appears to be a remake of the original Bubble Bobble game, which sees bubble dragons Bub and Bob going through over 100 levels, blowing bubbles to capture enemies and then hitting said bubbles to kill them. Hopes are high, as Bubble Bobble was a defining childhood game.

The Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge is rather different, and looks to take the Commander's Challenge mode from Red Alert 3: Uprising - that's the 50-odd missions which made the bulk of Uprising's gameplay - and transpose it into Xbox LIVE Arcade. Expect Ric Flair as an opponent, and missions revolving around killing hordes of cloned Yuriko units.

You can see what we thought of Uprising here, which will likely give you an idea as to whether or not you're likely to want the Commander's Challenge.

Either way, both titles should hit on Wednesday for a mere 800 Microsoft Points apiece.
