Eidos has announced that a map pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released on Thursday this week.
The map pack will be available from the PlayStation Store, Xbox LIVE, and Games for Windows LIVE, and offers two new Challenge Maps "to hone their FreeFlow Combat skills and test their Invisible Predator prowess."
The 'Totally Insane' FreeFlow Combat map will feature numerous fast-moving escaped lunatics in the asylum's Secure Records facility. The map "will challenge all but the most practiced players, with quick reactions and expert timing."
Meanwhile, the Invisible Predator map 'Nocturnal Hunter' will be the complete opposite. Here you need to stay in the shadows "utilizing the Arkham watchtowers and Batman's arsenal of gadgets to gain the upper hand on The Joker's army of goons."
Best of all, it's completely free.
We were right when we suggested Challenge Maps then, it seems.
