Pixie Lott Leads Guitar Hero 5 Challenge

General ScreenshotUK number-one signer (and resident hottie) Pixie Lott has been selected to launch a Guinness World Record attempt featuring Guitar Hero 5.

The record will use the ‘jump in, jump out' feature for Guitar Hero 5 and aims for the largest number of participants to play in a single Guitar Hero session over a 24 hour period - phew.

Numerous countries throughout Europe will be aiming to claim the record, with the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Holland and Sweden participating in the attempt but only one country will gain the award at the end of the day.

The UK's attempt which is being held at HMV on Oxford Street, London was launched by Pixie Lott who scored a number one in the charts with Mama Do back in June. Guitar Hero 5 launched today on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2 and introduces numerous party play modes as apart of the Rockfest feature.

It's not been the best run up to launch for Guitar Hero 5 with it being reported yesterday of Courtney Love wanting to sue Activision for Kurt Cobain's apperance in the game. Even though the company say they went through all the correct prodcedures to get his likeness we can only wait and see where that legal battle ends up.
