Next week's Rock Band music store update includes PAX tracks from Freezepop, Jonathan Coulton, MC Frontalot, and Paul & Storm in addition to tracks brought across from Rock Band Unplugged.
Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii users will be able to get their hands on 10 tracks this week. Three are split into PAX Track Pack 2009, three into a Freezepop Pack, and the other three are only available singly.
- Freezepop - Get Ready 2 Rokk*
- Freezepop - Less Talk More Rokk*
- Freezepop - Science Genius Girl*
- Jonathan Coulton - Re: Your Brains*
- MC Frontalot - Origin of Species*
- Paul & Storm - Opening Band*
- 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite
- AFI - Miss Murder
- Audioslave - Gasoline
- Jackson 5 - ABC
These will be available on the usual update days next week for varying prices. All unstarred tracks will cost £0.99 GBP/€1.49 EUR/160 Microsoft Points/200 Wii Points each. Starred tracks will cost £0.59 GBP/€0.79 EUR/80 Microsoft Points/100 Wii Points each.
In addition, the Freezepop tracks will be available for £1.69 GBP/€2.29 EUR/240 Microsoft Points in a three-pack, as will the remaining starred tracks.
The Wii will also be getting an additional 10 tracks to catch up with the 360 and PS3 music stores, each of which will cost 200 Wii Points. These tracks follow:
- Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country
- The Jam - A Town Called Malice
- The Jam - Going Underground
- Oasis - Supersonic (Live)
- Rage Against the Machine - Guerrilla Radio
- Talking Heads - And She Was
- Talking Heads - Crosseyed & Painless
- Talking Heads - Girlfriend is Better
- Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime
- Talking Heads - Take Me to the River
Finally, PSP users need not fret as they haven't been forgotten either. If you have Rock Band Unplugged, the following two tracks will be available for £0.99 GBP/€1.49 EUR next week.
- Godsmack - I Stand Alone
- The Stone Roses - Love Spreads
A pretty good haul all around with something for everyone, and I suspect I'll be buying almost every 360 track when these hit next week. Thankfully I won't need a pay rise to cover it as over half of them are cheap and available in packs.
