Batman: Arkham Asylum has topped the UK all format chart in its first week of release.

Eidos’ excellent Batman adventure knocked Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort off the top spot, while last week’s number two, Wolfenstein, dropped to number four.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was the week’s highest climber, jumping seven places to break back into the top ten.
