Sony has revealed the first movies to feature on the European PSN video store when it launches later this year.
"Hundreds of movies" will be available on launch day in November according to the announcement made at GamesCom.
Films will be available to download to the PS3 or the PSP using the PSN video store and you can begin watching shortly after the download begins.
The titles will be available to rent or purchase, with users having 14 days to watch the movie if they have rented it, however once the film begins to play they will have 24 hours to finish watching the film.
People purchasing the films will be able to watch them straight from the PS3 hard drive or transfer them to the PSP to watch them on the go.
The following titles have been confirmed:
- Angels and Demons
- Bruno
- Crank 2
- The Dark Knight
- Dead Space: Downfall
- Gran Torino
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- National Treasure
- Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
- Public Enemies
- Star Trek
- Terminator Salvation
- Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
