Section 8 Release Delayed & Pre-Order Offer

SouthPeak Games has confirmed Section 8's release date has slipped a week, but has also revealed a special pre-order offer.

If you pre-order the title from UK retailer GAME you will be sent a code allowing you to unlock unique weapons and armour for your online experience in the futuristic shooter.

Fans will unlock the Captain's Armour, a SIW7 "Black Widow" Combat Pistol, and two different variations of the Assault Rifle.

Those pre-ordering from Play.com will receive a code to unlock the Captain's Armour.

A Section 8 demo was also released this week on Xbox LIVE, supporting up to 16 players online (the final version will support 32 players).

Originally scheduled for 4 September launch,  Section 8 will release a week later on 11 September on PC and Xbox 360, but only in the UK.
