Killing Floor's Free Heavy Metal DLC Available

Killing FloorTripwire has announced the release of the Heavy Metal content pack for Killing Floor.

The pack is just the sort of DLC we like to see here at IncGamers - it's completely free, and it contains all sort of new goodies.

Expect two new weapons - the AK-47 and the Katana - and a brand new map, KF-Foundry, set (unsurprisingly) in a steel foundry. Several floors, machinery, and a bit of molten lava are the highlights of this map.

Other than that, expect a load of fixes. All Specimens now have "On Fire" behaviour, meaning that when they've burned for a certain amount they'll freak out and act like a burning zombie, and the flashlight has been fixed to work in a more realistic fashion.

Other than that, the achievements have been fixed, exploits have been removed, and a load of minor things have all been repaired.

The Heavy Metal pack is online and your copy of Killing Floor should update automatically through Steam. If you don't have Killing Floor, you may want to consider it - we thought it was enjoyable enough, but feared for the longevity. Packs like this can only help.
