EA has unveiled a new subtitle for the next instalment in the Command and Conquer series.
Assembled C&C fans at the CommandCom event in Germany were told that Command and Conquer 4 will now be subtitled Tiberian Twilight. The title is fitting for what EA says will be the last instalment in the Tiberium saga.
In the series' lore, Tiberium is a mysterious extraterrestrial substance that arrives on Earth in the 1990s and its powerful, yet dangerous, attributes bring two human factions, the Global Defence Initiative (GDI) and Kane's Brotherhood of Nod, into conflict.
The GDI believe Tiberium must be controlled while Nod believe its arrival to be the fulfillment of a prophecy and a catlyst for human evolution.
Command and Conquer 4 is due for release on PC next year.
