SingStar Beatles NOT Coming To PS3

SingStarHarmonix has confirmed there will be no version of SingStar Beatles.

We reported earlier this week (we all make mistakes) EA were ready to announce a SingStar port of The Beatles: Rock Band.

Speaking to Joystiq a Harmonix spokesman squashed any rumours of the title.

They stated, "Contrary to the rumored reports, there is no Singstar: Beatles software product. There is only 'The Beatles: Rock Band' hitting shelves worldwide on 9/9/09 on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in which players can play as a singing game or as a full band game."

However Harmonix did confirm it was looking at releasing a new promotional bundle soon.

"With that in mind, we have been working very closely with all of our partners to create various retail promotional opportunities...such as 'The Beatles Microphone Bundles.'"

So all you singing fans out there will just have to happy with the 45 Beatles tracks available on The Beatles: Rock Band when it launches on 9 September for Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii.
