F1 2009 Gameplay Footage Revealed

Codemasters has released the first gameplay footage from its upcoming Wii title F1 2009.

The video shows action from the Valencia Street Circuit in Spain, ahead of the F1 Telfonica Grand Prix of Europe due to take place there this weekend.

The Wii title will feature all the drivers, cars and tracks from the 2009 F1 season and is powered by Codies’ impressive EGO engine, also seen in Colin McRae: DiRT 2 and Operation Flashpoint 2. The game is due for release in Europe on 27 November.

F1 2009 is Codemasters’ first F1 title since it acquired the license earlier this year, with PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 games due next year, despite a brief panic over the future of the sport.
