Assassin's Creed 2 White Edition GAME-Exclusive

Ubisoft has announced that the "White" version of Assassin's Creed 2's collector's edition will retail exclusively at GAME.

If you're in the UK and want an Assassin's Creed 2 collector's edition, you have two choices - either pick up the White edition at GAME for £59.99 GBP on console or £49.99 GBP on PC, or the Black edition on Play.com for £69.99 GBP on console and £59.99 GBP on PC.

GAME's White edition contains a 20cm/8.5in tall statue of Ezio and an unlockable in-game bonus quest "within the walls of one of the most mysterious monuments of the Renaissance: The Santa Maria Dei Frari church in Venice," in addition to a copy of the game.

Play's Black edition, on the other hand, costs a little more but gives a little more. The Black edition contains three unlockable in-game bonus quests, a behind-the-scenes artbook titled the "Conspiracy Book," the soundtrack to the game, and a Master Assassin Ezio black figurine.

We don't know whether the White quest is one of the three in the Black edition, but we'd imagine so, as the description of those quests lists the locations as the Medici palace, the Venice arsenal shipyard, and the Santa Maria Dei Frari church, though it's perfectly possible there's a fourth, unannounced location.

Either way, it sounds like you'll be getting some lovely stuff if you choose to shop at either of these locations. Both versions are available for pre-order now at their respective stores ahead of release on 20 November.

You can see pics of what's included in each version below.
