Sony Reveals New Slim PS3

Yes folks, the rumours were bang on the money! Sony has revealed a new PS3 SKU during its GamesCom presentation in Cologne.

The new PS3 will be available in stores worldwide from September and will be 32 per cent smaller, 36 per cent lighter and will consume 34 per cent less power than the current SKU. It will ship with a 120GB HDD and will cost $299 USD, €299 EUR and ¥29, 998 YEN.
The new pricing will also apply to the current PS3 from tomorrow.
