BlazBlue Announced for Europe

PQube has confirmed the European release for BlazBlue on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The 2D weapons-based fighter has been available in Japan and North America since late June and is developed by Arc Works Systems, also known for the Guilty Gear franchise.

Dave Pain, from PQube, said "the long running 2D fighting genre has seen a welcome boost in 2009 with updated versions of several franchises brought to Next Gen PS3 and 360 consoles".

The European version will support online play along with introducing brand new characters, moves, music tracks, animations, backgrounds, and a lengthy story mode.

Along with the game additional content such as a character strategy guide, a music soundtrack release is also expected.

BlazBlue will release on Xbox 360 and PS3 in Q1 2010.
