DaoC Expansions Now Free

Mythic has announced that the Dark Age of Camelot expansions, Darkness Rising and Labyrinth of the Minotaur, are now available for free to subscribers.

Existing players will get the expansions as part of the next automatic update, and new or returning players can experience the content in a new 14-day free trial.

“The Dark Age of Camelot community has thrived for nearly a decade and the game has helped transform the MMO landscape with the introduction of groundbreaking Realm vs. Realm gameplay,” said Jeff Hickman, Executive Producer of Mythic Entertainment. “We could not be more excited to offer all this entertainment to all current players and to those interested in returning to the game, as well as to those looking to experience the game for the first time.”

Veteran players who wish to come back and play their characters once again can now take advantage of the 'Come Back To Camelot campaign', which allows players whose accounts have been closed for 90 days or more to receive 10 days of free game play.

For more info on either of the expansions, visit the DaoC site.
