Section 8 Open Beta Finally Open

SouthPeak Games has announced that the open beta for Section 8 is finally open.

The game has been in a public beta in the States for awhile now, but finally everyone else will get a chance to get their hands on it, and not a moment too soon with the game due out on 1 September.

The multiplayer beta contains one map from the full version, all of the weapons, and a smattering of vehicles, deployables, dynamic combat missions. If you don't know what the latter are, you should check out our preview.

Again, the game itself is due out on 1 September, but you can apparently try out the open beta for yourself by taking a look at the Section 8 site.
