Dragon Age: Origins Potentially Delayed

BioWare's forthcoming RPG Dragon Age: Origins may not see its original release date.

Up until now the game has seemed on target for a release on the week of 19 October, but Shacknews noticed that Gamefly and Newegg - both previously listing the game for a 20 October release across all three platforms - have changed their release dates.

Gamefly is listing the Xbox 360 edition for a release on 3 November, and the PS3 version for 19 November, while Newegg has both set for 4 November while the PC version remains at 20 October.

We've had a look around, but the websites of Play.com, GAME, and HMV all still list the title as released on all three systems the week of 19 October. We'll keep you updated.

Update: Bioware has now responded to the news of a potential delay saying they are still aiming for the 20 October release date and will notify everyone of any date changes should they arise via a press release. Fingers crossed the game makes the date. We'll let you know if a press release does appear.
