Borderlands PC "Destroys" Console Versions Graphically

Gearbox's Randy Pitchford has stated that Borderlands looks much better on PC than on console.

When asked by Rock Paper Shotgun whether or not players should buy the PC or console version, Pitchford responded that it's a hard decision.

"At work I play the PC version, because I'm in an office setting, my computer's in front of me, I've got a nice monitor and when I play at home I do play on the couch with my 360," said Pitchford.

"But the PC version destroys all the console versions in terms of the image fidelity," Pitchford added, "assuming you have the hardware for it."

This is probably set to arouse fanboy wrath but at least Pitchford didn't say that the 360 version will look better than the PS3, or something.

If you're interested in Borderlands, Gearbox's sci-fi open-world first-person shooter-RPG, you're in luck, as we've got all the details. Not only is the game coming out in a few short weeks on 23 October, but we've got a hands-on preview of it, and our own interview with Randy Pitchford.
