Wii Sports Resort has helped the UK games market value to rise again after the recent summer decline.
MCV reports with the release of Nintendo's Wii Sports Resort the market value has jumped back up 16 per cent.
Since June market value had fallen week-on-week to £16.9 million GBP for the week ending 10 July. But with the launch of Wii exclusive unit sales reached 907,501 by 25 July and ended with a market value of £18.3 million.
This week figures stayed roughly the same dropping only two per cent to £18.3 million while unit sales rose two per cent to 923,204.
Expect the market value to rise again with the imminent release of two anticipated titles throughout August in the form of Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Wolfenstein.
