LittleBigPlanet History Kit Announced

Media Molecule has announced a new History Kit for LittleBigPlanet.

The DLC will be available on 13 August for £3.19 GBP / $3.99 USD and will feature objects to create new levels based on famous periods in history.

Oriental, Arabic, Egyptian, Gothic, Roman, Celtic, and Native American have all been confirmed to feature in the new pack which will feature the following:

  • 4 Objects: Chinese Bell, Egyptian Mask, Ancient Greek Vase, Gothic Gargoyle
  • 5 Materials: Antique Maps, Islamic Tiles, Egyptian Hieroglyphs, Cave Painting, Tapestry
  • 13 Decorations Including Roman Plaque, Persian Brooch, Laurel Wreath
  • 140 Themed stickers
  • Sounds: ‘Sounds of yore'
  • Music: ‘The Chrysalis of Eternity' by Kenneth Young
  • Background: The Pantheon

Also in relation to the History Kit, Media Molecule will released a tie-in costume pack feturing four new outfits. The costume pack will be available for £2.39 but you will also be able to pick up each character individually.

The somewhat motley crew of Ada Lovelace, Genghis Khan, Boudica, and Mozart make the leap to LBP and join the likes of recently released Ghostbusters and Metal Gear Solid costumes.

This follows on from yesterday's news of the rumoured premium levels.
