Pearl Jam's New Album To Hit Rock Band

Pearl Jam has let slip that forthcoming album Backspacer will launch simultaneously in shops and on the Rock Band music store.

Billboard, during an interview with the band, mention that the album - Backspacer - will be available on Rock Band the day that it comes out, and that US store Target will have an exclusive edition of the album that will give access to the DLC.

Pearl Jam seem to be pretty big fans of the Harmonix rhythm-action game, with the album Ten having hit Rock Band awhile back, and three extra songs were recently released onto the music store.

Not only that, but there are rumours that a Rock Band: Pearl Jam Live game is in the works.

The album contains eleven tracks and is set for release on 20 September - presumably the same time as these songs hit the Rock Band music store.
